GOODY’S 500 RESCHEDULED FOR MONDAY
The Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500 was postponed to Monday because of rain Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.
An overcast day turned worse when a shower fell just prior to the 1:10 p.m. green flag, NASCAR and track officials tried to dry the track for about an hour before heavy rain returned.
The race was rescheduled for noon EDT on the 0.526-mile oval. The 500-lap, 263-mile race will be televised on Fox. Fan gates will open at 9 a.m.
