MAX PAPIS ‘NEWSMAKER’ GUEST ON THE RACE REPORTERS RADIO SHOW

Papis is now competing in the Geico Toyota in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck series after stints in Formula One, CART/Champ Car, IRL and sports car racing. He debuted in F1 in 1995 and then came to CART the following year. In 2000, Papis won his first CART race as well as the Daytona 24-hour endurance classic. He had another two Champ Car victories in 2001 and again won Daytona the next season. He teamed with Scott Pruett to take the 2004 Grand-Am sports car title and later became a Chevrolet Corvette factory driver in the ALMS.
Host Michael Knight will be joined for the journalists roundtable by Dave Kallmann, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel; and Kenny Bruce, of SceneDaily.com.
Also, Knight will host a special edition of The Race Reporters Saturday, April 10, at 4 p.m. EDT, 1 p.m. PDT. This will be part of PowerUpChannels exclusive four hours of live programming from Phoenix International Raceway, starting at 3 p.m. EDT, before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Subway Fresh Fit 600k.
